We offer Sunday School for those in Upper Elementary through Middle
School. This is a combined class and we are looking forward to the
growth that the Lord will bring so we can have two classes.
A fun-filled, snack-laden, yappin' Youth Group is also offered for
youth ages 10 years old and up. The group meets Friday evenings
during the school year. We've been excited to see the growth and
answered prayers in the lives of our young people. May the Lord
continue to do even more in their lives of faith. Please call Scott
(503) 267-6689 and let him know you're coming so he can plan.
Thank you!

NATIONAL YOUTH EVENTS
Each summer there is a national youth choir that meets, practices,
and goes on tour for a couple weeks. The locations rotate each year
from western tours to eastern tours. Youth ages 15-25 are encouraged
to go! It is a great time of spiritual renewal and fun with other
young singers! Contact: Wilf Scheuermann at (503) 771-2025.
ICFG stands for International Christian Friendship Group. We have
national youth retreats several times a year. Young people and couples
get together with other youth from various cities across the nation
and Canada to be rejuvenated spiritually and experience great fellowship
and singing. New friendships are made and old ones are strengthened!

, we made glass plates
with Kurumi Conley, a Japanese glass artist in the Portland area.
Kurumi brought the glass to our church, then we made whatever we
wanted, she fired them in her kiln and we are able to enjoy the
beautfiul items we made, whether it be an ornament or small dish.
, we have our annual
Christmas Coffee. Live music from a local student musician from
the Portland Youth Philharmonic, candlelight, pine, fine china and
refreshments set the backdrop for an evening to start us off for
the holiday season. Mark your calendars for December 4 at 7:30pm.
You can contact Melanie for more information about these events.
